I have a review for you today on the Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer. But I’m sure you can figure that out by the title…
Anyway, I bought this concealer awhile ago, over two years. I was on a desperate and determined hunt for a concealer that would cover this horrid thing we call acne. I read so many reviews and inspected so many products. I pretty much knew that a concealer that would get the job done right would be expensive, but I’m a savvy person so I prefer to save money if I can.
My acne wasn’t (and still isn’t) the worst I’ve seen. It’s just a bit worse than typical pubescent acne. I was very insecure about it and I wanted something that would cover it for good. So after doing a bunch of research I finally decided to buy this concealer off the Sephora website, praying that I chose the right color. I settled on this one because I saw videos of it covering tattoos and I figured that if this can cover tattoos it can cover my acne. I also made sure this concealer wouldn’t make my acne worse because that would just cause a downward spiral.
When I received it I immediately loved it. It’s so full coverage (LIKE IT COVERS EVERYTHING), it’s waterproof, a little goes a LONG way, and it’s just overall amazing. It covered my under-eye circles (which are fairly blue/purple) as well as my bright red acne. It was definitely pricey at $34 but it legitimately lasted me just over two years. Two years!!!! That little tube had such an amazing product where a few tiny drops will conceal your whole face and subsequently it lasted me forever!!! That made me feel a lot better about paying that amount of money.
Now I will say that although this concealer is my holy grail, it does not last all day without a primer, powder, and preferably a setting spray (I can do reviews on the different setting sprays I’ve tried if any of you would like). But almost every product follows that rule so that didn’t deter my liking.
In conclusion, I really love this product and would highly recommend it for people that really want some coverage that will last for years. It is an investment but it is worth every penny in my opinion.
